Description
This IC chip is an integrated control circuit, referenced U5300 on the iPhone 12 Pro board. It is part of the Camera Control module and manages the operation of this camera-related control. When it is faulty, the button or the camera's response may become erratic, or stop responding altogether.
This set of 3 pieces is a compatible part, made by a third party. It lets you replace the current component during a repair you carry out yourself. Before starting, switch the device off, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, protecting yourself from static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap if you have one. Do not bend the flex cables and handle the components with care, as a damaged chip cannot be repaired.
After fitting, check the operation of Camera Control and the camera before fully closing the casing. If in doubt, repeat the checks step by step rather than forcing anything.
