Description
This pack of 5 buzzer brackets is designed for the iPhone 7. It is a chassis-type part, supplied in a pack, of compatible quality and made by a third-party manufacturer. The bracket holds the buzzer in place inside the device so that it can correctly transmit ringtones, alerts and sounds from the bottom speaker.
If the buzzer comes loose, vibrates or produces a muffled sound, the bracket may be the cause. It allows the component to be returned to its original position without forcing it. To replace the current part, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with suitable tools and a small container for the screws. Before any work, switch off the iPhone and disconnect the battery. Use an anti-static wrist strap if you have one, and avoid knocks to the flex cable.
After fitting, check that the buzzer is firmly secured, then test the ringtone, notifications and speaker at several volume levels. If an abnormal noise persists, stop using the device and check the connections again.
