Description
The buzzer bracket is a small part of the iPhone 8 chassis that holds the buzzer, the speaker located at the bottom of the device, in place. It secures this component correctly so that sound stays clear during calls, music and notifications. When it is worn, broken or badly positioned, the speaker may vibrate, crackle or become faint.
This pack of 5 brackets is a compatible part, made by a third party. It replaces the current part during a repair of the chassis or the buzzer. Before you start, switch off the device, work on a clean surface and discharge static electricity by touching a metal object. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and use suitable tools to avoid forcing the connectors.
After fitting, check the sound by making several test calls, listening to music at medium volume and making sure no unwanted vibration appears. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture or bend it.
