Description
This set contains 50 compatible-type screws, designed for the MacBook Pro 13" A2338 (2020 - 2023, M1 and M2 chips). They are used to fix the various internal elements of the cover or chassis during a maintenance or repair job at home. If you have lost a screw or the current part is damaged, a replacement set lets you close your device properly without forcing it.
Before you start, switch off the computer, unplug the charger and work on a clean, flat surface. Use a screwdriver suited to the screw heads to avoid damaging them. Sort the screws by position, for example in a small tray or on a sheet of paper, so that different lengths do not get mixed up. Avoid static discharges by regularly touching a metal ground before handling components.
After reassembly, check that each screw is in place without being overtightened, then make sure the cover closes without effort. If the battery is involved in your job, disconnect it before touching the ribbon cables and do not puncture or bend it. A swollen battery must no longer be used.
