Description
The microphone is the small component that picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and video recordings. This compatible LG G8X ThinQ part replaces the faulty microphone of your phone. It fixes the most common faults: the person you are speaking to cannot hear you, your voice messages sound muffled or silent, or your videos have weak or no sound.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables. Work on a clean, well-lit surface with suitable tools. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Never force a connector and never puncture or bend the battery. If it is swollen, stop using the phone.
After fitting, check the function before closing the device. Make a test call, record a voice message and a short video, then play them back. Also make sure the microphone grille is not blocked. If the result is not satisfactory, check the flex cable connections.
