Description
This compatible microphone replaces the faulty microphone of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20. It picks up your voice during calls, voice messages, recordings and video conferences. When it is worn or dirty, your caller may hear you faintly, with crackling, or not at all.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your disassembly requires it. Work on a clean surface with a suitable tool to open the chassis without forcing it. Handle the part carefully and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself on an earthed metal surface. Do not bend the ribbon cables and never puncture a lithium battery. If a battery is swollen, stop using it.
Once the microphone is installed, reassemble the phone, reconnect the battery and check everything: make a test call, record a voice message and listen to the result. If the sound is still weak, check that the microphone is firmly plugged in and that the ribbon cable is not trapped. Moderate warmth is enough during reassembly, never heat the device strongly.
