Description
This compatible microphone fits the Galaxy S20 and restores voice pickup for calls, voice messages and recordings. When it is faulty, your caller may hear you poorly, faintly, or not at all, and some dictation or recording apps stop working properly. This part is made by a high-end third-party manufacturer and offers a result close to that of the original part, with carefully finished workmanship.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely, remove the battery if your model allows it, and work on a clean, flat surface. Use an anti-static tool or touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Ribbon cables are fragile: disconnect the battery before unplugging them and avoid forcing the connectors. Do not puncture, bend or expose the battery to excessive heat. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
After reassembly, switch the phone back on and test voice pickup with a call, a voice message and a recording. If you fit a new or recently replaced battery, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise its performance.
