Description
The microphone is the component that picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and recordings. This compatible part replaces the current one when it is worn or damaged, without changing the rest of the device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, to avoid short circuits and limit the risks linked to static electricity. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid forcing the fragile connectors. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using a swollen battery.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test voice transmission by making a call or recording a voice memo. Also check that the microphone does not obstruct the closing of the casing and that the seals are correctly positioned. If the sound remains abnormal, check the connections again before concluding that the part is faulty.
