Description
This microphone is a compatible component designed to replace the faulty microphone of an iPhone 18 Pro. It picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and video recordings. When it is damaged, the person you are speaking to hears poorly or not at all, and videos may be silent or muffled.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a precise order. Avoid excessive heat when opening the device, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using it.
Once reassembly is complete, reconnect the battery and check that it works: make a test call, record a short voice memo and a brief video. Also check that the phone does not overheat abnormally. If the problem persists, check the ribbon cable connection before drawing any conclusion.
