Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and protection against static electricity. Handle the microphone by its edges, without pressing on its membrane. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using the device if the battery appears swollen.
Once fitting is complete, check the function by making a test call and recording a voice message and a short video. If the battery was disconnected, a few full charge cycles will then confirm that the device remains stable.
