Description
This compatible microphone replaces the current part of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro (2017) when call pickup or voice recognition no longer works properly. It is intended for phone calls, voice messages, audio recordings and voice commands. Once fitted, it restores normal sound capture quality if the fault really comes from the microphone itself.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static wrist strap if possible, to protect the components from static electricity. Warm the edge of the screen slightly only if the guide requires it, keeping the heat moderate.
After fitting, check the microphone by making a test call, recording a voice message and testing the voice assistant. If the device heats up, makes an abnormal noise or if a battery looks swollen, stop the operation immediately and do not use it any more. Never puncture the battery or bend it.
