Description
This compatible microphone replaces the built-in microphone of the Meta Quest 2 (2020) headset. It picks up your voice during calls, multiplayer sessions and voice commands. When the microphone of the current part no longer transmits sound, or transmits it crackly or faintly, this replacement restores clear communication.
Before you start, switch off the headset, unplug it from its power supply and place it on a clean, flat surface. Work on a clear table, with a suitable screwdriver and small containers to store the screws. To reduce risks, touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components to discharge static electricity. Disconnect the battery before working on the ribbon cables and never apply excessive pressure to the connectors.
Once assembly is finished, reconnect the headset and carry out a recording test with the headset app or a test call. Check the volume, voice clarity and the absence of background noise. If the result is not satisfactory, recheck the position and connection of the connector before concluding.
