Work on a clean surface and protect the components from static electricity, for example with an anti-static wrist strap or by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Note the position of the screws and connectors, and never force the fragile tabs.
After reassembly, check the microphone by making a test call, recording a voice message and filming a short video. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. While handling the device, avoid any source of excessive heat.
