Description
This compatible microphone replaces the microphone of your OnePlus 5. It picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and audio recording. When it is faulty, the person you are speaking to hears you poorly, distorted or not at all, and videos are recorded without sound.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static wrist strap if possible, and avoid excessive heat so as not to damage the components. Keep the screws in a precise order so you can reassemble the device without error.
After reassembly, test the microphone with a call, a voice message and a short video before fully closing the casing. If the sound stays weak, check that the ribbon cable is correctly connected and that the connector is clean. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
