Description
This compatible microphone for OnePlus 5T replaces the faulty microphone in your phone. It picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and recordings. When it is worn or damaged, your caller hears you poorly, muffled or not at all, and the microphone can also disturb the voice recognition of the assistant. This type of fault is common after a fall, contact with water or dust clogging the grille.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it, to protect the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface and use an antistatic tool to avoid discharging the electronics. Do not drill or bend the battery components, and never use a swollen battery. Warm the screen adhesive only if the instructions require it, and do not overheat.
After fitting, check the microphone by making a test call, sending a voice message and recording a short sound. Also check that the ribbon cable is properly connected and that the phone does not heat up abnormally. If the sound remains weak, check the microphone grille and the connectors before closing the device.
