Description
The microphone is the component that picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and video recordings. When it fails, your caller hears you poorly, muffled or not at all, and videos show distorted or missing sound. This part is designed to replace the original OnePlus 6 microphone and restore normal sound pickup.
This reference is an original manufacturer part, or an official "Service Pack" part. It offers performance and battery life identical to new. Before fitting, switch off the phone, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity. Handle the ribbon cables with care and avoid excessive pressure on the connectors.
After replacement, power the device back on and test the microphone by making a call, recording a voice memo and filming a short video. Check that the other elements of the board remain properly connected. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture or bend it.
Tips
- Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables
- Work away from static electricity
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Test calls, voice memo and video after fitting
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
