Description
This compatible microphone replaces the microphone of your OnePlus 7 Pro when the current part no longer picks up your voice. It is used for calls, voice messages, recordings and video conferencing apps. A faulty microphone often shows up as a caller who cannot hear you, muffled recordings or crackling sound.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface with an antistatic tool, and avoid bending or forcing the flexible ribbon cables. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture it.
Once the microphone is fitted, check the following: make a test call, record a short voice message and listen to it back, then check that the function works properly in a video conferencing app. Also keep an eye on the heat of the device during normal use.
