Description
This compatible microphone replaces the faulty microphone of the Google Pixel 3. It picks up your voice during calls, voice messages, audio recordings and video calls. If the person you are speaking to hears you poorly, your voice sounds distorted or they can no longer hear you at all, the current part is probably causing the problem, and this microphone restores sound pickup.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and protect sensitive components from static electricity by avoiding contact with the connectors. Never drill or bend the lithium battery, and do not expose the device to excessive heat during the repair.
After reassembly, check the sound pickup by making a test call, a voice message and a recording. Also check that the screen, buttons and connectors work properly. If the battery was disconnected, let it charge normally and carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise the device.
