Description
This compatible microphone replaces the faulty microphone of your Pixel 3a XL. It picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and recordings. When it is out of service, your caller can no longer hear you, or hears your voice heavily distorted. This part therefore fixes these sound pick-up faults, without affecting the quality of the screen or the battery.
This is a compatible part, manufactured by a third party. Before starting, switch the phone off completely, discharge it as much as possible and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic tool, and avoid excessive heat. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery; if it is swollen, do not try to keep it running.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and test the microphone: call a loved one, send a voice message, make a recording. Also check that the ribbon cable is properly clipped in to avoid any loose connection.
Tips
- Switch off and disconnect the battery before any handling
- Use an antistatic tool and a clean surface
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Test the microphone with a call and a voice recording
- Check that the ribbon cable is properly clipped in
