Description
This compatible microphone replaces the faulty microphone in your Google Pixel 6. It restores voice capture for calls, voice messages and recordings. If the person you are speaking to can hear you poorly, or if the microphone sounds muffled or is missing altogether, this component is the cause in most cases.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools to avoid scratching or bending the connectors. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using the device if the battery is swollen.
Once the fitting is complete, check the function before closing the casing fully: make a test call, record a voice message and listen back to it. For a new or replaced battery, a few full charge cycles are recommended to stabilise battery life. Keep the old part in a safe place until the result is confirmed.
