Description
This microphone, compatible with iPad 8 (2020), is a replacement part for people who repair their own tablet. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge. Handle the battery with care: do not puncture it, do not bend it, and never use a swollen battery. Avoid excessive heat while working.
Once the part is fitted, switch the tablet back on and test the microphone with a video call or a voice recording. Also check that the tablet's other functions still work normally. If you notice a problem, recheck the connection of the ribbon cables before drawing any conclusion.
