Description
This microphone is an internal component that picks up your voice during calls, recordings and voice commands. It is designed for the Note Pro (2014) model. When it fails, you may notice a muffled voice, callers who cannot hear you, or empty or distorted recordings. This part is of Compatible quality, made by a third party: it replaces the current part without being identical to the current part.
Before you start, switch the tablet off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid any contact with the ribbon cables. Do not drill or bend the lithium battery; if it is swollen, do not try to reuse it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the microphone with a recording app and a video call. Also check that the part is firmly secured and that the connectors are properly seated before closing the casing.
