Description
This microphone is a compatible spare part for the PlayStation 5. It is used to replace the microphone built into the console or the controller microphone when it no longer picks up your voice properly, stops working altogether, or produces interference. Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace and suitable tools to avoid damaging the small connectors. Switch the console off completely, unplug it and, if possible, disconnect the cables before any handling. Work free of static electricity, for example by regularly touching an earthed metal surface.
Once the fitting is complete, power the console back on and carry out a voice recording test and a communication test. Check that the microphone is recognised and that the sound is clear, without crackling. If in doubt, check the connections again to make sure they are correctly seated.
