Description
This compatible microphone replaces the built-in microphone of your U12 Plus. It carries your voice during calls, voice messages and recordings. When the microphone is faulty, your caller may hear you poorly, or not at all.
This part is made by a third party and is therefore a compatible part, not the current original part. It is offered as an economical option to repair your device. Before fitting, switch off the phone, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity. Note the position and orientation of each ribbon cable to make reassembly easier.
After reassembling the device, check the microphone by making a test call and recording a voice message. If the sound remains weak or distorted, check that the ribbon cable is firmly seated and that nothing is blocking the opening. Do not drill or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
