Description
This microphone is a compatible part designed for the V20. It picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and recordings. When it is faulty, the other person hears you poorly, cannot hear you at all, or background noise becomes a nuisance. Replacing this component often restores normal sound pickup.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid sudden movements so you do not tear the ribbon cables. Use tools suited to opening the device so you do not damage the chassis. Do not drill, do not bend the battery and do not expose it to excessive heat.
After fitting, check the microphone by making a test call and recording a short voice message. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it and carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise the whole unit. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
