Description
The V20 microphone is the component that picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and video recordings. This original part is either a manufacturer part or an official "Service Pack" part, with performance and battery life identical to new. It fixes faults where the other person cannot hear you, where your voice sounds muffled or where recordings crackle.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface at a moderate temperature, and avoid static electricity by earthing yourself or using an anti-static mat. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery; if it is swollen, stop using it.
After reassembly, test the microphone with a call, a voice message and a video. If the device has been switched off for a long time, run a few full charge cycles to check battery life. Keep the small screws in a tray so they do not get lost.
