Description
This microphone is a part compatible with the Sony Xperia C4. It picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and recordings. When it stops working, the person you are speaking to can no longer hear you, or hears you poorly, with crackling or static.
Before you start, switch off the smartphone completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool, and first discharge any static electricity. Never force the connectors, which are fragile.
After fitting, check the microphone by making a test call and recording a voice message. If the battery was removed, recharge the device gently, without excessive heat, and let it go through a few full charge cycles. A swollen battery must never be used.

- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery; if swollen, stop using it.
