Description
This compatible microphone replaces the faulty microphone of a Sony Xperia Z5. It picks up your voice during calls, voice messages and audio recordings. When it is worn or damaged, your caller hears you poorly or not at all, or the sound is muffled and crackling.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the fitting guide requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a container so you don't lose them. Never force the delicate connectors and do not bend the ribbon cables.
After fitting, check the function before closing the casing: make a test call, record a voice message and listen back to it. If the battery is swollen or damaged, do not use it and do not puncture it. Avoid any exposure to excessive heat.
