Description
The charging connector is the small component that links the Lightning or USB-C port of your iPhone 15 to the motherboard. It is what allows the device to charge and to transfer data by cable. This compatible version, references A3090 and A2846, is designed to replace the current part when it is worn, dirty or damaged.
The most common faults it can fix are intermittent charging, a phone that no longer charges, a cable that has to be held in a specific position, or the cable not being detected. Before you start, switch off the phone, unplug it and work on a clean, clear surface. To avoid any risk, disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself on an earthed metal object.
After fitting, check charging with a cable in good condition, then test the microphone, the speaker and the detection of accessories. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. Do not puncture it, bend it or heat it. To recharge it after the repair, let it go through a few full charge cycles.
