Description

The REFOX alignment mould is a repair tool for individuals who replace a screen or a part on an iPhone 16 Plus themselves. It holds the components in the correct position during assembly, making it easier to align the edges and connectors. It helps limit the shifts that can cause poor contact, a loosely fitted screen or a rubbing noise after the repair.

This tool is a third-party manufactured item of compatible quality. It suits most work on this model, but it does not replace careful reading of the procedure. Before you start, prepare a clean work surface, small containers for the screws and an anti-static mat. Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables.

After assembly, check the alignment by eye, then test the touch screen, brightness, sensors and charging before closing everything up completely. If a part seems to force its way in, stop and repeat the step. A swollen or damaged battery must never be used: do not puncture it or bend it.
