Description

The TBK 203 centring mould is a repair tool designed to position a screen correctly when reassembling a device. It is used to align the panel and frame before the clips are closed, so that the screen stays flat and the seal is preserved. It suits all models according to the tool's data sheet. It helps in particular to avoid misalignment, abnormal gaps between the screen and the chassis, and scratches caused by incorrect pressure during assembly.

Before using it, work on a clean, flat surface, with an antistatic mat if possible. Remove the battery and disconnect it before handling the ribbon cables, then place the screen on the mould without forcing it. Keep your tools away from the lithium battery: never puncture it, never bend it and do not use a swollen cell.

Once assembly is complete, check the alignment of the edges and the operation of the touch and display, then test the device before closing it fully. If something does not click into place, do not force it and reposition it instead.
