Description
The OnePlus 7 Pro foam is a spare part of the gasket or adhesive type, intended to be placed around or under certain internal components of the OnePlus 7 Pro. It holds the elements in place, dampens vibrations and ensures a secure fit when the device is closed. When it is worn, peeled off or deformed, you may notice abnormal play, friction noises or poor sealing of the affected compartment. It is an original manufacturer part or an official Service Pack part, with a finish identical to new.
Before replacing it, switch the device off completely and disconnect it from any power source. Remove the old adhesive carefully, without scraping the surfaces roughly, then clean them with a dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid any contact with electronic components and beware of static electricity. Position the new foam without stretching it, then press it evenly to ensure good adhesion.
Once the fitting is complete, check that the foam is correctly positioned and that no cable or internal element obstructs the closing. Power the device back on only after a visual check. If you notice a swollen battery when opening it, stop using it, do not puncture or bend it, and handle it with care.
