Description
The antenna flex cable Xiaomi 12 is a small flexible circuit that connects the built-in antenna to the rest of the device. Depending on the model, it carries signals for the mobile network, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. When it is damaged or poorly connected, the device may lose signal, receive weakly or stop connecting to certain networks. This compatible part lets you replace a faulty cable without changing the whole phone.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool and an anti-static wristband if you have one. Note where each screw goes, as they are not all the same length. Handle the cable by its edges, without bending or forcing it, and check that the connector is firmly clicked in before closing up.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the mobile network, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth before refitting the casing. If the battery was disconnected, also check that it is properly reconnected. If you are unsure about compatibility or the result, never force a connector.
