Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and good lighting. Handle the flex cable carefully, without bending or forcing it, and avoid any static discharge. A swollen or damaged lithium battery must never be used.
After fitting, check that the device starts and that the battery level display is consistent. It is advisable to carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the electronics can recalibrate. Monitor the temperature during charging, which should remain moderate.
