Description
The iPhone X buzzer flex cable is a small flexible circuit that connects the buzzer, the device's small speaker, to the motherboard. It carries the signal that makes ringtones, notification beeps and certain system sounds play. When it is faulty, the phone may stay silent during calls or alarms, or produce distorted or crackling sounds.
This part is a compatible flex cable, made by a third party. It therefore allows you to replace a damaged flex cable at a lower cost. Before any work, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, away from static electricity. Handle the flex cable by its edges, without bending it or pulling on the cable.
After fitting, check the function by testing a ringtone, a notification and the system sounds before fully closing the device. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture it.
