This camera flex cable for Galaxy Z Fold7 connects the rear or front camera module to the motherboard of your device. It carries the image signals to the processor, which allows the camera to work properly. When it is damaged, the camera image may appear black, blurred or frozen, or the camera app may refuse to open.
This part is a compatible cable made by a third party. It replaces the faulty cable without altering the rest of the device. Before you start, switch off your device completely, remove the battery if possible and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge. Disconnect the battery before detaching any cable.
After fitting, check that the camera app opens and that both cameras work. Take a few test photos. Never force the connectors and handle the cable carefully, without bending it.
