Description
The camera flex cable Pixel 7 is a flexible cable that connects the photo module of your device to the motherboard. It carries the signals from the lens and allows the device to take photos and videos. When it is faulty, you often see a black camera, a blurred image, distorted areas or a camera that no longer launches. This compatible part lets you replace the damaged cable without changing the rest of your device.
Before you start, switch off the device completely and disconnect the battery. Work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Disconnect the flex cable carefully by lifting the locking clip, and avoid pulling on the cable. Protect the components from static electricity, for example by touching a metal earth before handling the part.
After fitting, check that the flex cable is properly clipped in and that all connectors are closed. Turn the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing: photo, video, front and rear cameras, and focus. If you have any doubt, reseat the flex cable and repeat the checks.
