Description
This motherboard flex cable TCL Plex connects the device's motherboard to the circuits in the lower section, allowing all components to communicate properly. A faulty flex cable can cause screen interruptions, incomplete boot-ups, network losses or erratic behaviour during use. This compatible part is a third-party manufacture, offered as an economical alternative for a do-it-yourself repair.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools so you do not bend the connectors. Handle the flex cable by its edges, never by its fine cables, and check that no component is damaged before fitting. If the battery is swollen, do not use it.
After reassembly, check the operation of each concerned element before closing the casing for good. A new battery or one disconnected during the procedure may need a few full charge cycles to regain stable battery life.
