Description
This hinge flex cable for Pixel Fold is the part that connects the screen and the main body of the device through the hinge. It carries the display signals to the motherboard. When it is worn, bent or damaged, the display may become unstable, some areas may stop responding, or the screen may stay black depending on the model. This is a compatible part made by a third-party manufacturer, offered as an affordable alternative for repairing your device.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the model's procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to avoid electrostatic discharge. Use non-metallic tools to release the connectors, without forcing or bending the cable. Respect the connection direction and check that each connector is properly locked in place.
After reassembling the device, test the display, the screen rotation and the sensors before closing the casing completely. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture, bend or crush it. Take your time, as a misplaced cable can cause new faults.
