Description
The NFC antenna cable OnePlus 5 is a small flexible circuit that carries the antenna used for contactless payment, card reading and pairing with certain accessories. It is generally placed under the rear cover, near the battery or the motherboard, and connects the antenna to the rest of the device through a fine connector.
This part is used to replace a damaged, disconnected or cut cable. When it fails, you may notice that contactless payment no longer works, NFC reading fails or the function is intermittent. Before any work, switch the device off, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface with an anti-static tool to avoid discharges on the components.
Take care not to bend the cable or force its connector, and handle the battery with caution: it must never be punctured or bent, and a swollen battery must no longer be used. After fitting, check the NFC function before closing the cover completely. It is also advisable to carry out a few full charge cycles before judging the result.
