Description
The antenna cable OnePlus 5T (ref. A5010) is a small flexible circuit that connects the device's internal antenna to the motherboard. It allows the phone to receive and transmit network signals, as well as certain wireless functions depending on the model. When it is damaged, you often notice a loss of network, dropped calls or very weak reception, sometimes with no obvious software cause.
This part is a compatible cable, made by a third party. It matches reference A5010 and should be compared with the current part removed before fitting, particularly the connectors and length. Before any work, switch the device off, remove the battery if the model allows it and work on a clean surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge on the components.
After fitting, power the device back on and check reception in several places, as well as the quality of calls and wireless connections. If you remove a lithium battery, never puncture it, bend it or use it if it is swollen.
