Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies, video calls and face recognition unlocking. This part, compatible with the LG G8 ThinQ, lets you replace the existing module when it is damaged, no longer focuses, or shows a blurred, black or distorted image.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to protect the electronic components. Use suitable tools, without forcing, and handle the flex cable carefully so it is not bent or torn.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and check the camera image before closing the chassis completely. Check sharpness, brightness and face recognition operation. If the current part was a swollen or damaged battery, do not use it and handle it with care.
