Description
The front camera is the small module that captures your selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the LG V40 ThinQ and replaces the current part when the image is blurred, black, distorted or missing from the camera app.
Replacement requires patience. Switch off the phone completely and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a tray so they don't get lost. Avoid excessive heat during disassembly.
After fitting, check focus, brightness and operation in several apps, especially the camera and video conferencing. If the image remains abnormal, first check that the ribbon cable is properly clipped in before concluding the part is faulty.
