Description
This OnePlus 10T flex cable is a flexible connecting part that links the device's motherboard to an internal component, so that signals and power can be transmitted. On a OnePlus 10T, a faulty flex cable can cause a screen that no longer responds, an intermittent connection or a function that stops working. It is a compatible part, made by a third-party manufacturer, that can replace the current part to repair your device.
Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal part to avoid electrostatic discharge. Never force the connectors: they lock in with light pressure. Note the position of the screws and cables before dismantling to make reassembly easier.
After fitting, check that the flex cable is properly clicked in, then test the relevant functions before closing the device completely. If the battery was disconnected, let it reconnect without plugging it in too quickly. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent, and a swollen battery should no longer be used.
