Description
This Galaxy Note 10.1" (2012) display flex cable connects the display panel to the device's motherboard. It carries the image and, depending on the model, the touch information from the screen. This compatible part is made by a third-party manufacturer; it replaces the current part without being an identical copy of it.
A damaged display flex cable can cause a black screen, horizontal or vertical lines, areas that no longer respond to touch, or a partial display. Before you start, switch off the device, discharge it as much as possible and disconnect the battery before handling the flex cables. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool and without forcing the connectors.
After fitting, check the display, brightness and touch before closing the casing. Make sure all connectors are properly clicked in and that the flex cable is neither bent nor pinched. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture it.
