Description
The screen flex cable Note Pro 12.2" (2014) is a thin, flexible circuit that connects your device's display to the motherboard. It carries the image and touch signals, which makes it an essential part for the display to work properly. Without it, the screen may show lines, stay black, stop responding to touch or display frozen areas.
This compatible flex cable is offered to repair these faults without buying a complete screen. It is made by a third party and is not original. Before starting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge. Remove the screws and store them separately by location.
After fitting, check the reconnection of each connector before closing up. Switch the device back on and test the display, brightness and touch function over several areas of the screen. If a fault persists, check the connectors again rather than forcing the fixing.
