Description
The OnePlus 3 display flex cable (ref. A3000 / A3003) is the flexible cable that connects the display panel to the device's motherboard. It carries the signals needed to show the image and detect touch. When it is damaged, you often see a black screen, lines, areas that no longer respond to touch, or a display that cuts out intermittently.
This part is a compatible flex cable, made by a third party. It lets you repair the screen of your OnePlus 3 at a lower cost. Before you start, switch the device off, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, using an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touching a metal earth to limit static electricity. Never force the connectors and take the time to align the flex cable properly. Remove the current part carefully, without bending the cable.
After fitting, reconnect the battery and check the display, brightness and touch across the whole surface before closing the device. If the battery of your OnePlus 3 is swollen, do not use it and avoid piercing or bending it.
