Description
The flash flex cable OnePlus 13 is a small flexible circuit that links the device's motherboard to the camera's flash module. It fires the flash when you take a picture and drives the lamp that lights the photo. When the flash no longer fires, lights only partly or stays off, this cable is often the cause, especially if it has been bent or the device has been dropped.
This part is a compatible cable, made by a third-party manufacturer. It lets you repair your device at a lower cost, without aiming for an exact equivalent of the current part. Before fitting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, dry surface. Protect the components from static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the cable.
After replacement, check that the connector is firmly clicked into place, without bending the cable. Reconnect the battery, then test the flash in several situations: daytime photo, night photo, close-up shots. Keep in mind that the lithium battery must be handled with care: do not puncture it, do not bend it, and do not use a swollen battery.
