Description
The flash flex cable Redmi Note 8 Pro is a small flexible circuit that connects the camera's flash module to the motherboard. When you activate the camera flash, this component carries the signal and powers the LED. If the flash no longer lights up, only works at certain times or does not appear in the camera settings, the flex cable is one of the possible causes to check.
This part is a compatible flex cable: it is made by a third party and not by the device manufacturer. It allows a low-cost flash repair, but its quality may differ from that of the original part. Before you begin, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static tool and avoid touching the cable contacts unnecessarily.
When fitting, pay attention to the orientation of the connector and its locking mechanism, without forcing it. Once the cable is back in place, reconnect the battery, switch on the device and test the flash with the camera. If your device's battery is swollen or damaged, do not use it, and do not puncture or bend it.
Tips
- Disconnect the battery before touching the flex cable
- Use an anti-static tool and work on a clean surface
- Check the connector orientation before locking it
- Never force the connector, it should slide in without effort
- Test the flash after fitting before closing the device
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
