Description

This speaker flex cable for iPhone 12 mini connects the device's speaker to the motherboard. It carries the audio signal that lets you hear calls, music or videos. When it is damaged, the sound can become weak, crackling or cut out completely, and the fault does not always come from the speaker itself.

This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It performs the same function as the current part for fixing speaker faults. Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and use an anti-static wrist strap if possible. Do not bend the flex cable and handle it by its edges.

After refitting, check the sound by playing music and making a test call before closing the device completely. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture it. Keep heat moderate during the repair.

Tips

Disconnect the battery before touching the flex cable
Handle the flex cable by its edges, without bending it
Check the sound before closing the device
A swollen battery must no longer be used
